Description: Up for sale is this original oil painting on board. This is one of the stations of the cross. There are 14 stations and this would be the second event: Jesus accepts the cross. There would have been 14 paintings on display in a church. This painting is one of four that we have obtained. They are professionally framed and protected under glass. Very old painting that would have been displayed in a church setting in Spainish colonial America. Still very bright and vibrant colors they do have a stunning effect. Interesting to note that when a soldier is depicted he has a helmet similar to that of a Spainish Conquistador. If you would like more than one we can combine shipping to save costs.
Dimensions: Painting measures 12″ X 10.5″ with frame measuring 21.5″ X 20.5″.
