The Stourport Carnival was held on Saturday and the church of St Michael and All Angels was there. Churchwarden Liz Bloomer tells us about it:
St Michael’s was, once again, present at this years Stourport Carnival taking our prayer tent to the carnival field! We were very fortunate with good weather and delighted to talk to so many people during the day.
“There was once again the opportunity to offer a fairly quiet space, to light a candle, leave a prayer in the basket or use stones to reflect. Prayer squares and prayer teddies were given to give comfort in the days ahead. The Revd Carey Saleh was willingly roped in to support the local pantomime group in the procession and much fun was had by all!”
